Growing up I always daydreamed about making the big catch or sinking the final basket to win the game. I can still picture myself on the playground counting down the seconds before throwing the ball in the air with my hopes and dreams hanging in the balance. The shot goes in and I’m the hero but there’s no crowd, no cheering, just me alone with the ball, dreaming of what could be.

While times have changed kids still want to be the heroes they cheer for on TV, see on a billboard or a baseball card. They see a moment frozen in time and imagine what it would be like if that were them. My goal is to capture your children in that moment taking the shot, hitting the ball, an image so powerful they can stand among their heroes hanging on their bedroom wall, knowing dreams can come true.
